Be Ware- Hurricane Ike

By now, all of the southeast coast of the United States should be paying close attention to the tropics. While Tropical Storm Hanna bares watching, it is Ike that is the most concerning. AS a category 4 already, this storm has the potential to cause catastrophic damage. The National Hurricane Center's best guess at this point brings it close to the Southeast coast of Florida as of Tuesday morning. Its just a question of whether it turns before reaching Florida. If this happens- the rest of the east coast (Georgia, South and North Carolina) could be in the path. Burke, Bogart & Brownell urges everyone to take this storm seriously.
